ABOUT ME
I am an architect and Ph.D. in Urban Studies and Social sciences from the University of Nottingham (UK). For the last decade, I have been engaged in practice and research projects in Asia and Latin America that aim to contribute to the health and well-being of communities. I have participated in research projects that promote place-making through nature connections to find alternatives to cope with heavily urbanised cities. In my research, multi-disciplinary approaches have been explored to create new models for promoting healthy urban environments and resilience through nature interaction. I advocate to the implementation of participatory practices in urban and architectural design that are also supported by scientific research.
Besides my research and teaching commitments, I spend my free time teaching meditation and exploring native natural landscapes.
