Project leader for the program titled: Planting Seeds of Empowerment, currently undertaken by Neurolandscape organization  in  the informal communities of Medellin (Colombia) and Dhaka (Bangladesh). This project aims to understand the bottom-up female actions that are manifested through nature projects. Longitudinal studies are conducted in these two cities in order to find relevant traces of female empowerment and the coping mechanisms created by female residents in order to overcome crisis. Under the concept of ‘resilience’ this study aims to uncover how to promote health and well-being in communities highly exposed to violence and poverty through nature interaction.
